GIFTS GIVES Connecting women-led micro, small, and medium businesses to aspiring girl entrepreneurs. GIFTS Entre is a hands-on 6-8-week STEM literacy program presented throughout the South Fulton community. Participation in the program is for girls ages 10-18 and is held weekly for 6 weeks and is delivered now (due to Covid-19) virtually.
Why do it
This program aims to build leadership, math, critical thinking, reading, economic development, and entrepreneurial skills.The program’s goal is to empower young women from low-income and underserved communities through project-based learning activities and workshops, equipping them with both meaningful educational opportunities and life skills to build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship. Community DrivesGIFTS conducts community drives in conjunction with partners on behalf of the South Fulton and greater Atlanta community and distributes the supplies collected throughout the year. Past drives include the collection of school supplies, professional clothing items, feminine care supplies, and toiletries.
