Girls Intellectually Focused in Transforming Self Inc. (GIFTS, formerly known as Girls Intellectually Focused to Succeed Inc.) is an initiative that cultivates dialogue through storytelling, coaching, and mentoring relationships centered on identity, integrity, volunteerism, and social justice. Through collaborative partnerships, GIFTS programming supports girls in underfunded and underprivileged communities at free to low cost in the areas of:
• Arts & Culture • Self-Care, Health and Wellness • Youth Leadership • Food insecurity• Financial Literacy and Economic Empowerment
What is our Why?
We pride ourselves on our intent, intent on eradicating poverty, hunger, and more. Ever since the organization was established, we have endeavored to provide assistance where the need is greatest. That is why we are especially happy to find new volunteers who share our commitment to doing good in the community and the world.We believe all girls and women can embrace who they are, can define their future, and can change the world.
We advocate for those who need our help. Even a little help goes a long way.
